Our story

A local agency built around one idea: trust

Dovecare Africa Ltd - Househelps, Housegirls & Nannies Agency was founded to solve a problem many Kenyan families know too well — finding household help you can genuinely trust. We are based on Kamiti Road, Githurai 44, Nairobi, and place trained, vetted staff with homes across all of Kenya.

Rather than leaving families to gamble on strangers, we do the hard work upfront: identity verification, certificate of good conduct checks, referee interviews and skills assessment — so that by the time you meet a candidate, they've already earned our seal of approval.

How every Dovecare candidate is screened

No one joins our pool of housegirls, nannies, babysitters, houseboys, shamba boys or house managers without passing every step below.

Identity Verification

We confirm each candidate's national ID and physical address before any interview.

Certificate of Good Conduct

A valid police clearance certificate is required and verified for every candidate.

Referee Interviews

We personally call past employers or referees to confirm work history and conduct.

Skills & Safety Training

Candidates undergo training in housekeeping, childcare and household safety.

In-Person Assessment

A structured interview evaluates reliability, communication and attitude.

Post-Placement Follow-Up

We check in with both client and staff member after placement to confirm a good fit.
